The history of yachts and the origin of this recreational activity is extended throughout the entire world. In a world always on the run, a ranking of super yachts shipyards maintains a compact and exclusivist structure. Here are top three shipyards in this industry:

Next, we have Feadship (Netherlands), Fincantieri Yachts (Italy), Heesen Yachts (Netherlands), Lurssen and Nobiskrug (Germany), Oceanco (Netherlands) and Perini Navi (Italy). From all super yachts introduced at the last festivals, not all were built by top shipyards. This only shows that such an industry is diverse and so is the demand. Here are some of the yachts from stone and wood, symbols of the earth, floating through waves and times.

1. GO by Turquoise

For the interior, famous glass sculptor Dale Chihuly made some genuine artworks, to gently highlight the Turquoise brand as a message. An additional superior deck, imagined for the owner and his family was customized with a swimming pool with waterfall right in the middle. Its wide windows, to provide a wide perspective, alongside sumptuous interiors, folding walls with sea view and a helipad located at the bow are specific elements that further customize the project.

Its distinctive elements are wide decks for fun and relaxation, multiple dining-room options, two lavish helipad

and a wide range of water games. Interior is highlighted by light essence wood, lacquered surfaces and light color marble.

4. SYZYGY 818 by Feadship

One of 209 wonders, 77.25 m length, 1592 tonnes displacement and 18.4 knots speed has a surprising name story for a ship. In Chinese numerology, 8 is a number that symbolizes movement from one level to another, the repetition of 88 being a karmic symbol. On the other hand 1 is the sign of the beginning. Such a combination has the significance of "taking control of your own life". The term syzygy comes from astronomy and indicates an approximately rectilinear configuration of three celestial bodies in a gravitational system. This theme association between numerology and astronomy represents a challenge for finding the hidden meanings regarding shipyard choices.

Made on a steel and aluminum structure, exterior design by the famous Jarkko Jämsén and interior by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, Syzygy 818 has luxury facilities, a total success in the most recent Monaco Yacht Show from September 2019. In terms of figures, we are talking about a show of somptuosity and elegance, more than 40 countries and over 26,000 visitors. Famous names as manufacturers, including Oceanco, Lurssen, Feadship, Azimut, Benetti, Dubois, Alloy Yachts, Canados, Couach, ISA, Jongert, Perini Navi, Pershing, Riva, Rodriquez, Royal Denship, Sunreef, Sunseeker, Ferretti, Heesen, Holland Jachtbouw, Trinity , Abeking & Rasmussen and Wall.

It was an amazing display for the fabulous Syzygy Company, highlighted as both Charter and personal yacht. After the show, it was customized by owner's request, with a state-of-the-art technology, also in terms of curved glass structures. An extra feature is the fuel efficiency. The helipad, swimming pool and Jacuzzi also contribute to luxury, besides the glass (curved, uninterrupted decoration projects), wood and marble as highlights.

The world of yachts is special and exclusivist. Designers and engineers are competing in sophisticated combinations in which luxury combines with state of the art technology. And yet in this world of aluminum, steel and glass, most recent technologies and constantly evolving, natural stone and wood convey magic touches, offering style and personality. Without these natural materials, super yachts, these complex factories, would no longer be the floating palaces of today.
