Golden Sky Polierte Marmorplatte 2 cm

Material Characteristics

Marble is a metamorphic rock formed through the thermal transformation of limestone. It features medium hardness, ranking between 3-4 on the Mohs scale, and medium porosity. Although sensitive to scratches and corrosive agents, marble performs excellently under environmental conditions. Available in a wide range of colors, often veined, marble can be finished in various ways, including polished, honed, brushed, splitfaced, bush hammered, chiseled, and sandblasted.
